Have American courts become the places where the truth dies? The attorneys educated in American law schools are taught less about justice and more about presentation, posturing and aggressiveness. Is it not?

Has America become a society for the attorneys, by the attorneys and of the attorneys? Has truth and justice gone by the wayside as this nation has prospered? Have a common man lost any chance of truth and justice without an attorney? Is this how the future of justice looks like?

The very foundation of humans is justice. We have yearned for justice since the inception of our existence. We have made tremendous progress and yet we are sliding backwards as the attorneys have taken over the execution of justice. Though attorneys are trained to do what they are supposed to do. The worst is the Judges of the US courts who come ill-prepared to the court room. There is nothing to hold the judges accountable. I have had a number of instances where the judges come poorly prepared to the court room and then try to get a sense of it during the hearing. It is shocking and then they end up ruling on an impulse. They become instruments of killing the truth.

We need to take action to restore truth and justice in the American courts. Our great legal system has to have unfettered access to justice by the common man and woman without the attorneys, and judges need to have a certain level of accountability. They are the final line of defense against attorneys who can misrepresent and distort facts without any compunction or conscious. In my book that is lying and attorneys as officers of the court are not supposed to lie but they lie openly without anyone calling them out.

It is time to take action. It is time to correct the imbalances created over the last century as the society has moved away from truth and justice. Truth is not relative. It is absolute and it needs to be restored along with justice.

American courts can not become the places where the truth dies.
